Over the past three-and-a-half years, our scientists and engineers have built qbeats’ valuation technology with the express purpose of unpacking, analyzing, and quantifying the variables that contribute to content value.
Our technology maps a piece of content’s characteristics, matches the content to audiences, and determines its initial qbeats Market Value (QMV). The QMV is then updated dynamically based upon consumption behavior. This value is your benchmark for establishing a pricing strategy.
qbeats technology creates a genomic “signature” for each piece of content based upon hundreds of elements, to map its Content Genome. Genomic markers include taxonomy, sentiment, social factors and writer style, to name a few.
Once a piece of content’s genome is mapped, it is matched to potential buyers considering additional factors such as reader type, projected demand curve, uniqueness, geography, events, and ratings.
The content is then passed to our Valuation Engine, which determines its initial qbeats Market Value (QMV) and its projected valuation curve.
The QMV adjusts over time in response to dynamic recalculations from the Valuation Engine driven by consumption patterns.
Once content has its QMV, you have the necessary information to set your pricing strategy. You can set pricing by following the QMV or by setting premiums or discounts as desired.
